A little while ago I was tried reducing my carb intake and would wake up so hungry I felt nauseous at 3am in the morning! Waking your partner up by microwaving sweet potato mash at 3am didn’t make me very popular…

So I did a little research and decided a slow release casein protein would help keep me satisfied during the night!

Here’s a little recipe that my friend gave me that is amazing!

  • 1 scoop chocolate casein protein powder (I use Muscle Milk)
  • 1 TBS low-fat cottage cheese
  • 1 TBS natural peanut butter
  • 200 mls almond milk
  • 100 mls water

Blend (don’t shake) until smooth!
